Dear  Trevor Robert Anthony  I finally have had a few minutes to respond to your excellent question about why we use Hadith? I will first post your question and reply in short. I want to write it here so that others may benefit from it. Or correct me if I am wrong. "Assalumualaikum. I have a question that you may see often. I have tried to seek scholarly opinions, and still get mixed answers. Please forgive me for asking, but I really want to find the correct answer. If the Quran tells us it is perfect alone. Needs no other book. Is compete. 6:38 says nothing is left out. 6:114 says Quran is fully detail. 7:12, 16:89 and 12:111 say that Quran is a full explanation of all things. 69:44 says "had he (Muhammad pbuh) taught anything else..." Saying that he taught Quran alone. And 45:6 tells us not to use Hadith... Then why do we use Hadith?" How did this Mauritanian experience the aftermath of "Weddady’s Free Arabs, American Islamic Congress and the pro-Israel funders who helped them rise" by Max Blumenthal?

I was tagged this morning in a post by a Mauritanian friend,  Zeidane Brahim   which reads: 
"After reading the well detailed Max Blumenthal's article "Weddady’s Free Arabs, American Islamic Congress and the pro-Israel funders who helped them rise," I concluded that Nasser Weddady is conversely guilty until proven innocent. Regarding Weddady's status as a public figure, Mauritanian intelligentsia living in the USA are however, expected to enlighten the public opinion about what is exactly happening over there. In spite of Mohamed El Mokhtar's article "Unfortunate and Disturbing Report: Weddady Has Some Explaining to Do" and its translation by Dr. Elycheikh Ahmed-Tolba, the issue is still obscure."  "Weddady’s Free Arabs, American Islamic Congress and the pro-Israel funders who helped them rise"

في الكفر والتكفير والحرية

١- الكفر اختيار و خذلان. و الإيمان اختيار و توفيق. كلا المصدرين عملان من أعمال القلوب. كبقية أعمال القلوب، تترجم الأقوال والأفعال ما غيّب منهما.  ٢-في بلاد غير بلاد الإسلام، أو في بلاد يختلط فيها الإسلام بغيره، يقبل من المرء حكمه على نفسه ما لم يظهر منه عمل لا يصح بحال تأويله لأمر غير الكفر، أوما لم يدفع هو عنه تهمة تأويله به. وفي بلاد الإسلام يعامل المرء على أساس أنه مسلم حتى يثبت العكس. ٣-الأقوال أهون تبينا في هذا المضمار، ولكن حتى في هذه يرجع إلى نفس الأسلوب و إلى نفس القدر من التحري و الصرامة. لأن الكلام مفردات و سياق، ومقاصد ومجاز. فدين يدرأ الحدود فيما هو أدنى بالشبهات كان من باب أولى أن يدرأ ما هو أربى بما هو أدنى.  ٤-هذا من حيث الإجراء و من حيث المنطلق لا يتتبع المسلم كلام الناس ولا يتصيد هفواتهم، فمن حسن اسلام المرء تركه ما لا يعنيه.  ٥-من كفر فعليه كفره. وكما قال أحد الشيوخ المورتانيين لمن تكلم في رجل يدعى عبد الحي تذكر أنك إن جئت إلى الحي فلن يسألك عن عبد الحي. أورد هذا ليس من باب الإرجاء ولكن من باب الوعي و التسليم بــ: "إنك لا تهدي من أح...
